THE START TO A GREAT THING!!!
Hey everyone!!!
We are pleased to announce a new program we are offering in rescue! What it consists of is a new room we are working on building that will be 100% mommy and puppy proof. It is a room that is filtered out (has its own AC system) and is attached to the back of our house. It will have monitors that will be visible to anyone in the main room (to keep a better eye on our familys) and there for eliminating any uncomfortable nursing (sleeping in crates) etc and mom can have a comfortable place to sleep away from other pets that can cause mom stress.
This is a way to help keep our puppies safer and healthier as their little immune systems and lungs develope. We are currently taking donations for our new room:
WHAT WE NEED:
*AC WALL UNIT
*LINOLEUM FLOOR TILES (room is a 8' by 8')
*FENCING (we want to gate of a section in the room for mom containment if we are working on puppies)
*CHAIRS (maybe 2) AND A TABLE (something small like coffee table or night stand) for staff in room during monitoring
*TOWELS
*BABY BLANKETS
*CONVIENANT LAUNDRY BASKET WITH LID
*PUPPY BEDS / TOYS
*MOMMY BEDS / TOYS
*HEATING PADS
*WEE WEE PADS
*GLOVES
*SANITATIONAL SUPPLIES
We do have a chipin set up in case anyone prefers to donate $$$ towards our project instead. We plan to have the room finsihed by Christmas this year!!!
So if anyone can help with items mentioned above we would be grateful. Anyone that wants to help us finish the room (room is built just need flooring as floor is wood and cement now) can do so and will have their name painted in the hanging stone painting we will have :)
